What is Building for America's Bravest?
Warren’s Carpet One Floor & Home has been serving the Erie County and Niagara County area for decades and have extensive experience working with adjusters and insurance companies. You will be rest assured that you have come to right place when it comes to flooring.
America’s Bravest put their lives on the line to protect us all. When some are devastatingly injured, the home they come back to doesn’t feel much like home at all. That’s why Carpet One Floor & Home® is proud to partner with Building for America’s Bravest™ to provide custom-designed smart homes that allow these returning heroes to live more independently, improving the quality of their daily lives.
How has Warren's Carpet One Helped?
Warren’s Carpet One is a proud sponsor and participant in Building for America’s Bravest. In October of 2017, we donated the flooring installation throughout the home of USMC Corporal Mark O’Brien. His wife and two children joined him in receiving their smart home in East Aurora, NY on October 26, 2017. The home was built as part of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers' Building for America's Bravest program.
This smart home was built with special high tech features accommodations for the needs of Corporal O'Brien who was catastrophically injured on November 8, 2004 when a rocket-propelled grenade collided with his Humvee during a firefight with insurgents in Ramadi, Iraq. This resulted in the loss of his right arm above the elbow and his right leg above the knee, as well as a traumatic brain injury.
We look forward to building more homes for our wounded veterans, and encourage you to take a look at donating to of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers' Building for America's Bravest program.
